Lhasa Tibet Tour

Permits from the Chinese government are required for every traveler to Tibet. Although there are flights between Kathmandu and Tibet, you can also drive there. The Tibet tour is a particularly spiritual location for many people. Most visitors travel to Lhasa where the famous Potala Palace is located that sits atop a hillock overlooking the capital city, while many visit the two holy pilgrimage sites of Kailash and Mansarovar. Previously, Potala Palace was a place of government administration of Tibet and the residence of the Dalai Lamas. Now, it is converted into a museum which is a must visit place on your Tibet Tour. Additionally, the Potala Palace is a representation of Tibetan Buddhism and a sacred site for Buddhists all over the world. The nation has distinct cultures and traditions of its own.

Travel to different regions of Tibet is frequently prohibited by the Chinese government, which causes unexpected changes in the itinerary. The preferred time to travel is during the summer months as winters are intensely cold because of its altitude, as Tibet is known as the 'Roof of the World'.
